We've been hard at work updating our Summit to Stream website with all kinds of new information!
Remember, there's still time to register, so please do so now! (Helpful Hint: don't forget to follow all the steps so that you receive the Zoom links and passwords for all three days.)

Scavenger Hunt

Want to learn more about all the projects and people we’re featuring at the 2020 Summit to Stream Conference and Symposium? Want to win PRIZES while doing it? We know you do, so the Montana Watershed Coordination Council and Montana Forest Collaboration Network have created the 2020 S2S Scavenger Hunt!

The more things you “find” - on the Summit to Stream website and in your home watershed - the greater your chances of winning. Here’s how it works.

1. Send as much of the information as you can find to terri@mtwatersheds.org before 5 pm on Wednesday, October 14 - Day 1 of Summit to Stream.

2. From among the entries with the most correct responses, we’ll use a random number generator to pick:

  1. First Prize: Free Individual partnership and an MWCC Hat

  2. Second Prize: A woodblock print of the Upper Yellowstone Watershed, made by Helena Artist Seth Roby. (He’s the one who created those awesome Good Water = Good Beer T-shirts that MWCC was selling last year.)

  3. Third Prize: The voice of the Audio Watershed Stories narrator of your choice on your personal or work voicemail! This could be:

    1. Denise Thompson of the Broadwater Conservation District

    2. Heather Barber of the Bitter Root Water Forum

    3. Kelsey Bruns of the Granite Headwaters Watershed Group, or

    4. Zach Owen of the Beaverhead Watershed Committee.

(Mouse over the Watershed Stories map to hear them all!)

We’ll announce winners just before we wrap up at noon on Friday, October 16. You need not be present to win, but we hope you are!

Now go forth and find those Summit to Stream treasures!

Due to the impacts many organizations are facing from COVID-19, along with our transition to an online format, we have decided to provide this three-day conference free-of-charge to our anticipated 200+ attendees. Your support will help us offset the costs of planning, coordinating, and hosting this year's event!

Your organization can support this event at various levels, with each offering unique acknowledgments and opportunities.
