Introduction to Open XML

Join us and TEKsystems Tuesday, July 22, at 6:00 PM in the Mt. Kilimanjaro/Mt. Everest rooms of the Charlotte Microsoft Campus. Eric Notheisen will introduce the concepts of Open Xml as a standard methodology to interact with Microsoft Office applications. You will discover how easy it is to create Word documents and Excel spreadsheets using Open Xml and C#. Learn more at

Control Flow in JavaScript with Generators

Generators are one of the many new language features added to JavaScript through the ES6 umbrella. While they are nothing special to the broader programming community, they can be composed in very unique ways with the asynchronous nature of JavaScript. In this talk we will take a tour from the basics of yielding a simple sequence of numbers all the way to controlling the flow of a complex asynchronous program.
