Participating local b
usinesses include Breakroom Brewery, Dovetail Studios for Dance and Fitness, Ravenswood Animal Hospital, Ravenswood Manor Child Care Center, and Windy City Playhouse. Come and meet these businesses!

Economic Development

Divvy is here! On May 5, new Divvy stations were installed at Kedzie & Montrose, Manor & Leland, and Kedzie & Leland. Still to come are the new stations at Horner Park. We're keeping an eye out for them!

Follow Divvy Bikes on Facebook to find out where the new stations are being installed each day.

We're keeping an ear to the ground... no new business announcements since last month, but we hope to have some exciting business news to share soon!

If you have any ideas for what businesses you would like to have in our community, we would love to hear from you. In fact, that will be part of the discussion at THIS WEDNESDAY's (May 20) Spring General Meeting. Come and join the conversation.

Horner Park & Area Parks

A full summer of activity is planned at the park. The Summer Concert Series premieres June 12. There also will be a “Night in the Park” event on June 20, with dancing, a concert and a movie, as well as a Neighborhood Day in the Park picnic that afternoon. Be sure to save the date!

The Horner Park Farmers Market returns, Saturdays, June 6 to October 3. We'll see you at the strawberry stand, or maybe buying rhubarb? Early summer gardens also bring fresh greens and asparagus. Delicious!
Did you know that the market is run by 7 of your neighbors, all of whom are volunteers? Speaking of volunteers, if you'd like to help out this summer, reach out to

Activities: Horner Park has more activities than we can count and publish! Check out the current list by visiting the Registration Site and choosing to filter by location (Horner Park) - so many great offerings for all ages!

Pets in Horner Park West

Meet MAGGIE! Maggie is the furry daughter of Jonathan and Susan Sweeney on the 4100 block of Richmond. She is a Dachshund/Terrier Mix and is originally a Kansas City native-but she definitely thinks the Cubs are going to go all the way this year. She is such a sweetheart and will always welcome you at the front door. She will love you forever if you give her snax! She enjoys chasing squirrels and pushing daddy to the edge of the bed at night. She can't wait to meet you all!
