Of special note..... It is always difficult when we lose one of our own. It is with much sadness thaGail Ann Clarkt we say goodbye to Gail Clark, one of our regular readers. Gone but not forgottenGail lost her battle with a terrible illness. Gail came to our book discussion group with great energy, charisma and interesting insights into the books we would discuss. We would always look forward to her comments and sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Rodney, son Barrett, sister Carol, and extended family. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

Friday Featured Speakers Program
Laura A. LoweJoin us for our Friday Featured Speakers Series on Friday, August 5 from 10:15 a.m. - Noon for "The Healing Gifts of our Caregivers - Learning How Forgiveness Can Empower You" with Laura A. Lowe, M.A., NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Spin/Group Fitness and Information Technology Instructor. Our caregivers (parents, guardians, teachers, et al) are instrumental in our past and current lives -- how we cope, how we struggle, how we learn, how we grow, how we perceive reality, and ultimately, how we treat one another and ourselves. Pause and RememberOur caregivers can either provide us with "safe spaces" for us to be and become who we are today, or if we allow them, cripple us with barriers to authentic self-actualization, self-esteem, and self-love.
Today I choose self-love
In this presentation, we can learn how to best utilize both the pain and happiness of childhood to embrace forgiveness and, ultimately, choose self-love.

Those present will be eligible for a drawing for a free one hour personal training session with Laura and a free One Week Pass to FitnessWorks in Morro Bay.
