News & HighlightsMarch 2017

Hi <<First Name>>,

You are welcome!I hope you enjoy this month's interactive newsletter. Allow yourself a moment to see the full gif messages provided throughout this newsletter. Don't forget that you can click on any picture for more information, special articles, trailers to movies, book reviews or links to websites. If you see anything highlighted and underlined, that is another link. There is always an opportunity to gain much more about what is happening when you take the time to dig deep! Thank you as always for reading the newsletter and supporting your Morro Bay Library.

This month I am fortunate enough to introduce two Guest Group Facilitators to our Morro Bay Book Discussion Group. Veda Freedman has been a long time participant with us who especially loves mysteries. She will beVeda Freedman leading the discussion on March 8. Cindy FarrowCindy Farrow who joined our group last year will be leading the discussion on March 15. We are so fortunate to have such a dynamic group of enthusiastic, educated, motivated and articulate participants as part of our Morro Bay Library's Morro Bay Book Discussion Group. Yes, I am talking about you. If you haven't joined us yet or it has been awhile since your last visit....always know the door is open to you. We believe in the powerful and unique perspective you have and will bring to the discussion. If you think you might want to be a Guest Group Facilitator at some point, please contact me. I am always open to sharing this wonderful experience with you!
Tina Fey
And no....she is not our next Guest Group Facilitator. On Wednesday, March 15, according to our Winter Series booklist we were scheduled to read and discuss, "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman. Unfortunately, the book will not be available for us to discuss because the library holds are still overwhelming. Therefore, we will be reading and discussing a different book on that date. Click on the picture of this lovely lady above - recognize her yet? -  for a hint. More details below.

Need a book recommendation?Did you know that every day is a book sale?  Right across from the front check-out desk at the Morro Bay Library is the Morro Bay Friends of the Library Bookstore. Anytime the library is open, the Bookstore is open. This is a great deal for you and a generous donation gift for your Morro Bay Library! As the picture above shares....your purchases help us thrive! Thank you.

Currently, I am coordinating the upcoming Season Booklists of what we will be reading and discussing through the end of thiWhat do you think?s year. Please let me know your opinion by sharing your feedback on this quick, two-question survey. Thank you for your time.

You are invited to participate in a Living Wisdom 6 week evolutionary course on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. beginning March 22 through April 26. Living Wisdom 6 Week Course There are also 2 Saturdays included in the program which involve a medicine making class on April 8 from 2-5 p.m. and an Ayurvedic cooking class on April 29 from 2-5 p.m. In this course you will learn the living principles of Ayurveda which include: understanding your constitution; living in rhythm with nature; sacred plant medicine; self-massage; and more. The growing popularity of Ayurveda around the world is due to its holistic approach towards wellness of life.
