Nature never did betray the heart that loved her.

Gratitude spotlight – today, for my airpods. Quarantine is not easy but good books and loud music are helping a lot.

Alex *loves* an assignment. The FINDyourstory photo challenge is pushing me to make art even/ especially when I don't feel very arty.

Omg Sqirl's blackberry lemon jam. I bravely put it on grilled cheese the other day and it. was. dope.

These photographs illustrate my quarantine feelings. (via swissmiss)

In 115 days I bet someone would love this for her birthday.

Sigh, here's your reluctant reminder that we all need to be responsible adults and replace our hard drives. I just bought this one again (it has 30k+ five-star reviews).

Just downloaded the book Invisible Women. Brb going to go burn all the bras.

What we all need right now is an enthusiastic elementary school choir singing Help Me, Rhonda and Sweet Caroline at the top of their lungs. Enter: The Langley Schools Music Project.

When I want to look just a little less quarantineish, such as before a walk, I put on the world's greatest lip balm with this lipstick over the top.

I can't really picture the near future clearly, to be honest, but I love this towel and hope we get to use it this summer.

Absurd love.

Can't stop thinking of the story of The Good Samaritan during this unprecedented time in our history. Who am I helping??

Kid gear that's saving my sanity right now: my Uppababy Vista stroller (all three of my babes can ride in it together) and this somewhat ugly but useful play zone for Charlie while we homeschool.

Something to make you smile: spring blooming in Paris.

I swear by Dr. Bronner's soap, especially during emergencies. It can be surface cleaner, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, even shampoo in a pinch.

Has Brandi Carlile ever written a song that wasn't perfectly relatable? No.

A lovely candle to brighten things up inside. This one too.

Thanks for reading. I'm happy you're here. If someone lovely forwarded this to you, you can subscribe to the weeklies right here.

That's all, y'all! STAY HOME!

XOX, Alex
