Mini Trees

The Trees are going up and voting begins soon!
Trees are going up, lights are being untangled, bulbs are being hung. The trees are almost ready! Thank you to everyone who has registered for our Mini Christmas Tree festival this year. The trees are beautifully done!

Mini trees will be revealed December 1st, save the date! Come and check out this year's entries which can be seen from the outside of the musem. While you're here vote for your favorite either by scanning the QR code in the window or by visiting our website. Winners will receive prizes generously donated by Sandra Craig, Councilor Dean Washington, Wilson Pharmacy, Western Sky Books, and Coronation Recognition along with eternal bragging rights!

Memorial Trees

Along with three other full sized trees going up in the Gathering Place at Leigh Square, this year we are setting up two memorial trees. Decorations hand-made by the residents of Mayfair Terrace Retirement Residence and Astoria Retirement Residence will hang along with photos of loved ones who have passed.

The Memorial Trees have been generously sponsored by councilors Dean Washington and Nancy McCurrach as well as Sienna Living. Councilor Washington's sister tragically passed away last year as have so many of our loved ones. Consider taking a look if you are in the area.

Scavenger Hunt

Take part in this year's scavenger hunt! Christmas themed items will be hidden throughout the mini tree display and you have to answer questions about them! Simply scan the QR code in the window to get started or visit our website here. The scavenger hunt begins December 1st

Entrants will have a chance to win prizes which have generously been provided by RBC Freemont Village Branch, Me-n-Eds Pizza, and Jim Pattison Subaru Coquitlam. Entries for prizes will be counted until December 13th
