Black Walnuts from America's Forests

Black walnuts are a powerhouse of nutrition.  The wild walnut has a rich, bold flavor and is the highest protein tree nut.  Watch Hammons Black Walnut’s video to learn more on the production process.  Great information for educators to share on this hand harvested fall nut.  Choose muffins or a loaf when preparing the Apple Black Walnut Bread.

Sweet Life Sweet Potato Focaccia

Sweet potatoes add extra nutrition, fiber and a glowing, golden color to the dough.  Prepare dough and refrigerate overnight to make this a two day class project.  The subtle flavor of the sweet potatoes combines with the Asiago cheese and herbs for a delicious flavor. This Sweet Life Sweet Potato Focaccia recipe is a National Festival of Bread finalist.

Spiced Pumpkin Bread

This pumpkin bread recipe puts a zesty twist on an Autumn holiday favorite. It’s both festive and traditional, and now with a bite of citrus. An absolutely delicious, moist companion for a season where leaves fall and fireplaces start to awaken.
