Treasured Family Recipes!

November brings holiday baking and sharing treasured family recipes!  It’s also a time to try a new ingredient or technique. We have prepared a collection of recipes and resources featuring sweet to savory pies! Encourage young bakers to visit with family members and discover family pie recipes, traditions and what makes them unique or special to their families.  And for families that do not have a pie tradition, challenge students to develop their own unique pie.  Visit for more holiday baking ideas!

Classic Cherry Pie

You will love this variation to the lattice crust.  Cut the pastry dough into strips to create the lattice top!  Great time savers included to make the Classic Cherry Pie ahead of time.
