April 2019

A Note From Our Chair...

Hello Pinellas Democrats and Happy Earth Day!

Lots of great speakers this month discussing equality for social, environmental and income issues.  Join us for the monthly general meeting on Monday, April 22nd at the St. Pete Marriott at 7pm.

We are excited about our first fundraising event coming up!  We hope you can join us on May 17th at the Fenway Hotel for our tribute to Senator Bill Nelson for his decades of public service.  This event is presented by the “Bay Blue Block,” the coalition of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk Democratic Parties. Proceeds go to our Victory Fund which is used to support local Democratic candidates (after primaries). Click the following link for ticketing information: Senator Bill Nelson Tribute Event- May 17th

If you haven’t started to canvass your precincts yet, please contact your district chair so they can get you started on knocking doors and making phone calls now!  We are getting voters ready for 2020 by introducing yourself, talking to them about the issues that are important to them, identifying NPA’s who lean left as well as recruiting precinct & block captains.

T-shirts are coming!!  We should have them available for purchase at the April 22nd meeting.  Women’s and Men’s sizes available $20 each.

Please bring any nonperishable food items to support Dunedin Cares Food Bank this month.

As always, we want to hear from you.  If you have any ideas for speakers, if you can recommend a person for member of the month, if you want to offer suggestions or feedback on training, etc…  Please email

In It to Win It With You!
