A Note From Our Chair...
Hello Pinellas Democrats!
Thank you to everyone that has been canvassing, making phone calls, writing postcards and driving canvassers! In July, we reached out to 3100 people through those combined efforts. Shout out to District 68 who canvassed the most doors in their efforts to Get Out the Vote for the St. Pete City Council race as well as registering voters!
To make sure Pinellas continues to go BLUE, in not just our county and state-wide races, but also in our municipal races, we need your help! Check out all our activities at https://www.mobilize.us/pinellascountydec/ to find events/trainings and join us. We have elections coming up in August and November, then again in March, August and November of 2020. When we all pitch in, that’s how we WIN!
We hope you will join us at our August 26th general meeting, where we will be honoring Back to School Month. We’ll be collecting donations to support our hard working teachers (and their students!), so please bring school supplies to be given to the Pinellas County Teachers Association. And we have two special guest speakers that you won’t want to miss (read on to find out more) as we welcome the start of the new school year!
As always, thanks for all you do and In It to Win It with you!
