June 2019

A Note From Our Chair...

Hello Pinellas Democrats!

Happy PRIDE month! Thank you to everyone who is out there fighting the good fight!

Please join us for our General Meeting on Monday, June 24th.  We'll have great speakers this month featuring Pinellas’ own Jennifer Webb.  We'll also be rolling out our monthly Progress Report.  This report will track the number of phone calls, doors knocked and new voters registered so we can be accountable and successful in 2019, 2020 and beyond!  Remember to bring non-perishable food items for Lutheran Services. This organization provides meals for kids in need and so much more! With school out for the summer, organizations like Lutheran Services help provide much needed support.

Check out To find events throughout Pinellas or speak with your District Chair to sign up for volunteer opportunities.  Finally, I hope we'll all be engaged and watching the first of many Democratic Presidential Candidate debates on Wednesday, June 26th and Thursday, June 27th!

In it to Win it with You!

T-shirts are here!  We will have them available at the June 24th meeting.  Women’s and men’s sizes are available for $20 donation.

As always, we want to hear from you.  If you have any ideas for speakers, if you can recommend a person for member of the month, if you want to offer suggestions or feedback on training, etc…  Please email

Congratulations to the Pinellas County Young Democrats!
The Pinellas County Young Democrats were named the Best Young Democrats chapter in Florida at the Young Democrats State Convention on June 15-16. They were also recognized for presenting the Best Program.  Their "Foresight 2020" campaign will be disseminated throughout the state in Young Democrat chapters to produce real organizational movement and change ahead of the 2020 election. Organization matters. Coordination matters. Communication matters. Their campaign has begun, and we certainly hope it spreads like wildfire throughout the state. Learn more about Foresight 2020 at
