Did you attend the TD Markham Jazz Festival this past weekend?

Please Help Us by taking our on-line Survey.
Your feedback could win you tickets to a jazz concert at the Flato Markham Theatre this winter!

Hello, Jazz Fans!

The TD Markham Jazz Festival Committee sincerely hopes you were able to attend and enjoy this year’s wonderful festival.

Thousands gathered in Unionville from Wednesday, Aug. 16 to Sunday, Aug. 20 to hear more than 30 outstanding performances – from 2017 Juno winners and nominees Paul Reddick (with MonkeyJunk) and vocalist and songwriter Barbra Lica, to our very special headliner, David Clayton-Thomas. Other featured artists were Ranee Lee, Carol Welsman, Manteca, Busty and the Bass, and an all-star band led by Larnell Lewis. People also took in our wine and beer garden, historical walking tours, and numerous “Hot Spot” performances along Main Street.

Now, we need your help!
Every year we conduct attendee surveys. The answers help us accomplish three things:
  • Determine the programming for future events – including a selection of “Hot Spot” concerts around Markham during the year.
  • Present an accurate picture of our attendees to sponsors and government grant providers.
  • Make improvements for next year.
If you were at the festival and did not have a chance to fill out the survey, please do so now at: It takes just a few minutes.

** If you complete the survey no later than Sunday, August 27, you will be entered into our draw for two tickets to one of three performances in the Flato Markham Theatre’s Jazz Series. Artists include Eddie Palmieri, Michael Kaeshammer, and Dave Koz & Rob Tardik. We just need your name and phone number or email address so if you win we can contact you, but entry into the draw is totally optional.

Help us continue to make the TD Markham Jazz Festival one of the best music events in Ontario!

The TD Markham Jazz Festival is a not-for-profit organization with a mandate to enrich cultural life in the region by bringing emerging and established jazz artists to Markham for all to enjoy. Established in 1998, the festival draws more than 25,000 residents and visitors to the streets of Unionville during the third weekend in August. Local and international artists deliver over 30 open-air performances during the weekend as well as in selected “hot spots” and at a ticketed opening-night concert. During the year, the festival hosts “Hot Spot Concerts” at selected venues in Markham. TD Canada Trust became its title sponsor in 2014.
