First responder research ... by OnStar

Our CSR-Partner OnStar, unveils further findings from its qualitative focus group on the psychological impact of car accidents, this time focused on the perspective of first responders in the UAE. Clear incident descriptions support first responder assessment of emergency situations within ten seconds.

Here are the top line highlights of the research:
•    First responders reaffirmed the importance of human conversation as a vital aspect of support and the challenges they face could be supported by the incorporation of technology, offering precious time saving to the teams
•    The emergency service providers welcomed the possibilities presented by Connected Cars, such as enhanced safety offerings, and seamless insights shared after accidents take place
•    The finding follows the reveal of initial research with accident victims, where interviewees sought professional medical support for reassurance and to provide the necessary aid during the emergency
•    Through in-vehicle safety and security services, coupled with the ‘always-on’ human connection from an Advisor, OnStar aids first responders by providing insights to support preparation and situation assessment

ARN Dubai Eye 103.8 'The Agenda' invited us and one first responder to share our views on the survey results - check out the podcast (scroll to 54:10 where our part starts!)

Our CSR-Partner AETOS Wire distributed and evaluated the press release which yielded 95 clippings and a media value of USD 332,500. Check out the full details of the press release and the evaluation (password: qATv1) - click here!

Summer SafetyTips ... Tyres; Li-Ion batteries and inflammable liquids inside the vehicle

Yes, summer is here! In our last newsletter we shared summer driving tips and shortly thereafter Gulf News reached out to us to work on an article about summer tyre safety. We looped in our CSR-Partners Michelin and Bridgestone to share their expertise. The article appeared in print and online - check it out!

The National Newspaper reached out to us to collaborate on an article why we should not leave Li-Ion  battery-operated devices like e-Cigarettes, e-Scooters, mobile phones and similar devices in our cars, as well as inflammable liquids, lighters and similar.
