Pedestrian safety ... Dubai Chamber Campaign

RoadSafetyUAE is a knowledge partner of Dubai Chamber’s Sustainability Network Road Safety Task Group, who organized a Pedestrian Safety Campaign, from 13 – 17 September 2020. The primary goal of this campaign was to increase safety for pedestrians in the emirate of Dubai by raising awareness of pedestrian safety and improving behavior among commercial drivers and employees of the participating companies.

According to Dubai Police data from 2019, 17% of all injuries, 26% of all serious injuries and 27% of all fatalities are 'run -over' traffic accidents involving pedestrians.

The campaign resource pack included safety tips for pedestrians and motorists, videos from RTA, pedestrian safety tips from RoadSafetyUAE and a safety poster, benefitting over 5000 employees from participating companies.

Motorcycle Delivery Safety ... ever more public and media interest!

What does it take to address the road safety concerns stemming from the booming motorcycle delivery industry?
