Affordability Report Receives Positive Global Media Coverage

After a successful launch at the ICTD 2013 conference in Cape Town, South Africa, A4AI's first Affordability Report has received positive, widespread coverage from media across the globe, with the majority of articles being published in Africa and Asia.

Noteworthy pieces included All Africa, Times of India and the Malay Mail Online. Articles highlighted both the rankings and broader affordability issues.

The Affordability Report launched December 8, 2013 with a keynote speech from A4AI Honorary Chairperson Dr. Bitange Ndemo. Two panels also took place on December 10 featuring representatives from several member organizations who discussed and analyzed the findings of the report. The press release, full report and country rankings are available on our website. Additional details, including the complete data set, will be available shortly.

Country Engagement: Help Us Identify Event Venues!

As A4AI plans its country engagement activities and other events in the coming year, we need your help to identify free or low-cost venues to hold meetings and events.

Our current priorities are identifying venues for our stakeholder forums in Accra, Ghana and Lagos, Nigeria, but please also let us know about other venues that you may have access to.

Please fill out this online form if you are interested in helping us, and we will follow-up with you.
