Thursday 16th April 2020
Just £59 per person
Step back in time on a wonderful steam train ride through the Sussex Countryside. The Bluebell Railway is a heritage line running on a 20 mile round trip along the border between East and West Sussex and is one of the UK’s best preserved steam haul railways.
On your 1 hour 40 minute steam train ride you will chug through the idyllic Sussex countryside towards Kingscote before you make your journey back to Sheffield Park station.
The railway was one of the first preserved heritage lines commencing train services in August 1960. As a result they have one of the UK’s finest collections of vintage steam locomotives and carriages. Today they are able to recreate trains from the 1880’s through to the 1960’s which proves popular with film and television productions including Downton Abbey.
Whilst you relax and enjoy the journey, you will be served a Ploughman’s lunch.
