Slides from workshop in Stockholm, December 2015

Slides from our workshop in Stockholm in December at Swecare are published on the web. Among the slides are the results from the survey we made among the members. Some of the conclusions was that the top priority for the members was an annual conference and local meeting points.

Textile project

The NCSH is collaborating with PlanMiljø in a new project which focuses on the green procurement of hospital textiles. The aim of the project is to encourage and assist hospitals and regional authorities in the Nordic region in moving towards a more sustainable procurement of healthcare textiles. This will be achieved in 5 steps.
A country specific fact sheet will be developed for the Nordic countries. This will include current status, obstacles and potential for healthcare textiles procurement. The consortium will also establish and facilitate a network of stakeholders relevant to the procurement of textiles in the healthcare sector. In close cooperation with the network, a guide will be developed. The stakeholders will also be brought together in different workshops to discuss and exchange initiatives as well as establish voluntary agreements. A strategy will then be developed and carried out for the guide’s dissemination amongst Nordic healthcare procurers.

For more information about this project, contact Daniel Eriksson at or +46 707-94 42 13

Host a workshop

Does your company or organization have a subject within sustainable healthcare (SHC) that you want to discuss with others? Host a workshop and we can help invite members and other participants to get an inspiring discussion. We are for example planning workshops together with hospitals that need input on new constructions and refurbishment, workshops on textiles in healthcare in relation to a Nordic Ministry Council project and much more.
