New members

We are happy to welcome more members to our network. Watersprint, GH Informatics and DeconX has joined NCSH and the total number of members is now around 50. 

                    

Study Visit at Centralsjukhuset i Kristianstad

- September 27, 09.30-12.00 CET

CSK (Centralsjukhuset i Kristianstad) has been recognized for their actions in becoming more sustainable. In September 27 we will have a study visit to look at few of their installations that drastically has reduced their energy and water consumption as well as waste. You will meet the people behind and also meet the companies behind the innovations.
•    Showers that reduced water and energy consumption with 80-90 %
•    Geo thermal heating and cooling
•    Waste handling solutions.
•    And more.
The space and allowed group sizes with in the hospital are limited why we can only offer limited number of participants. Make sure to register to reserve your participation.

Joint Nordic action on export platform for sustainable healthcare


NCSH has together with the Nordic export promoting organizations Healthcare DENMARK, Finpro, Swecare and Innovation Norway joined forces to create a Nordic platform/model for joint export efforts of sustainable healthcare solutions. As a first step a joint application to Nordic Innovation has been applied to develop a joint model that will map and display best-practice, new innovations and export possibilities from the Nordic countries

                  
                                

Innovation cluster for energy efficient healthcare


Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare has received funding from the Swedish Energy agency to start an innovation cluster for energy efficient healthcare. The mission is to boost innovation and spread knowledge on what is the best practice installations and projects. Activities will include the following:
-    We will map 25 best examples on installations and projects which will result in a report that will be spread nationally and internationally as best practice examples.
-    There will be workshops to discuss different topics. If you have ideas for topics or want to host a meeting you are welcome to contact us. 
-    There is specially dedicated funding for projects that only Innovation clusters can apply for, if you have ideas for innovation projects you are welcome to contact us as well.

Meet us at CleanMed Europe 19-21 October, Copenhagen

- a parallel session hosted by NCSH


NCSH will host a session at CleanMed Europe in Copenhagen in the afternoon October 20th. The session will include presentations regarding NCSH, the national innovation cluster on energy efficient healthcare, presentations from NCSH members such as Green Furniture, GH informatics and Watersprint. NCSH will also have a stand at the exhibition and members can display a brochure or other materials. If you are interested in taking part in some way, please contact us.

2012 CleanMed Europe was held in Malmö by TEM and Region Skåne with 350 participants from 30 countries.

February 15 2017: The Nordic Conference on Sustainable Healthcare

– THE annual nordic meeting point for Sustainable Healthcare stakeholders

Together with Bonnier Sustainability Media and Aktuell Hållbarhet, NCSH is launching THE Nordic meeting point focusing on sustainable healthcare. February 15 at Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm the first annual Nordic conference on sustainable healthcare will take place. We already have plenty of interesting speakers and exhibitors, if you want to take part as well, please contact us.
There will be plenty of opportunities to engage and interact during the conference. It's possible to host a breakfast meeting, hold a private seminar, sponsor etc. Please contact us for more information.

Some of our confirmed speakers include: European Health Property Network, HCWH Europe, Healthcare Denmark, Sykehuspartner Norway, Karolinska University Hospital, Oslo University Hospital, The Swedish network for social demands in public procurement and many more.

Meeting with the Nordic Textile network

Meeting with the Nordic Textile network

The next meeting in the procurement project focusing on sustainable healthcare will take place at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen September 16. Invitation has been sent out to members of the network. If you are interested in sustainable procurement of textiles in healthcare, please contact us. The project is funded by the Nordic Ministry Council and aims to create a Nordic guideline and a Nordic network focused on procurement of sustainable textiles in healthcare.
