MaterCare International joins up with "GivingTuesday" and you can too!
What is GivingTuesday?
Most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday…now GivingTuesday is coming to Canada on December 2, 2014.
It is a new Canadian movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Cyber Monday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it is a day where charities, companies and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes and think about others.
"You don’t have to be a world leader or a billionaire to give back. GivingTuesday is about ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things."
MaterCare is proud to be a partner of GivingTuesday. Check out our profile here and get your donation set up today!
Urgent Appeal for Operating Funds, MONTHLY DONORS NEEDED:
This year, there has been a great deal of change to the way healthcare in the west is perceived. The rights of doctors and medical professionals are constantly being challenged, but we will continue to stand up for the dignity of motherhood and the rights of Catholic doctors. Through MaterCare’s demonstration project in Isiolo, we are showing the world that maternal healthcare that respects the lives of women and their unborn children is not only possible but can be done efficiently and to the highest standards of care.
We need your support to continue our work. You can help by sharing our story and donating. Your prayers, your support and your contributions make MaterCare possible.
MaterCare International produced a short documentary film called Mothers Matter: Who on Earth Cares?, by watching and sharing this film you are acting as an ambassador for mothers, children and healthcare providers all over the world. Thank you for your support!
