An Exciting Addition to the HPCF:
Our New Associate Leadership Council!

The Highland Park Community Foundation is proud to announce the formation of a new board, the Associate Leadership Council (ALC). This young board is composed of 8 members of our community who are bringing energy, fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and passion that will deepen the Foundation’s reach and enrich the community as a whole.

The ALC, chaired by Taryn Kessel, held its first event this past Monday at Ravinia Brewing Co. Through live music, tasty tacos, and cold beer, the group spread the word about, and raised money in support of, the HPCF.

One of the ALC’s goals is to be not only a fundraising arm of the HPCF, but also to learn more about the needs in the community and to help whenever possible. Next up for the ALC, therefore, is a community service project, which you will learn more about in the fall.

Dedicated to philanthropy and idea sharing, ALC activities are sure to make an impact in the community. We are thrilled to introduce you to the ALC’s founding members: Ali Barnett, Joey Bleiman, Erik Gimbel, Ashley Kelly, Taryn Kessel, Sofia Konstantino, Simon Leibovich, and Heather Sher.
