CEDA NEWS APRIL - Members and associates edition

Dear <<First Name>>

More than 1200 people visited the Waterwheel VIC on the Easter weekend. Well done to our volunteers! It was for many operators an 'at capacity' weekend with lots of activity in our main streets. Well done to all business operators as well.

Over the next month we will be contacting our members individually regarding membership renewals for the next financial year. CEDA (your revitalised Chamber of Commerce) has now been in operation since February 2014 and we are really proud of what we have achieved in that time - all of which has been made possible through the support of our members.

We've had some great wins engaging stakeholders and negotiating wins for the Warburton Valley, from sporting events to investment in major infrastructure such as the world class cycling hub (contracts were signed this week with the design firm!),  from significantly enhancing our online presence through www.visitwarburton.com.au and of course through the operation of the Waterwheel - the Art gallery, Handmade shop and Visitor Information Centre. We often get feedback from the broader tourism network we belong to that CEDA is a great example of a motivated and effective group, with a unique and successful model for Visitor Information Centres, and it's always great to be acknowledged in this way. But we also want to thank the members who continue to support us, and acknowledge the CEDA committee, all of whom are volunteers with their own businesses to run, who attend meetings and do all kinds of work behind the scenes.
So keep an eye out for our renewal information and mention CEDA to a fellow business operator that may be yet to come on board. We look forward to supporting the continued growth of this region and capitalising on all the hard work that has been done so far.

We love staying in touch and appreciate your feedback. Our Facebook group is growing and proving to be a very effective communications option. All members are encouraged to join our Facebook group for timely updates and info of interest. CLICK HERE
