Dear <<First Name>>
Welcome to our second issue of our monthly newsletter and thank you for your warm response to issue one. We are pleased to launch our new logo in this issue (as per above). This logo extends on the existing ‘family’ branding established to create a recognisable icon for the Warburton Valley. This logo will be rolled out on all our communications.
A message from Peta Godenzi, President
Last week’s meeting was well attended and momentum is gathering quickly. There are several announcements regarding our committee that I will outline now.
Firstly, Paul Jackson has resigned from the role of Vice President. We thank him for his dedication and work over the past few years and acknowledge the benefit www.warburtoninfo.com has delivered to members.
Mike Iley, who many of you will know as the proprietor of Charnwood Cottages, has been nominated and accepted the role of Vice President until the next AGM.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Frances McBride, who has also tendered her resignation from the committee. Frances has made many contributions as a committee member and as President (past).
The Committee has also made a recommendation for CEDA representation on the Yarra Ranges Tourism (YRT) board and we are pleased to announce that Michael Hibbert will be fulfilling this role.
We also welcome three new committee members: Phil Wallens – Friends of the Rail Trail, Fiona Johnston - Dalblair B&B, and Georgie Johnson – Eagle's View B&B. Please join us in welcoming these members. A full list of our committee members is detailed at the end of this email.
We are currently working on the membership renewal program, which will be sent to you in May.
There are some great festivals and events coming up in May in the Warburton Valley. We wish everyone every success as we work together to reveal the beauty and benefits of our valley to an increasingly wide range of people!
All the best,
