Hello all!

On Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 the ALA will have a small monthly board meeting where a presentation will be brought to the board regarding changes to the property on Orange Blvd & Seminole Pratt Whitney Road (southwest corner).
If residents would like to hear the presentation or have questions or objections this is the time to show up and let us know about them.

We will then go on to:
Workshop #4
Our guest speaker is:
Keith Alexander from Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office. He will be with us to talk about filing for Agricultural Classification.

This is the time to get here and see what he has to say or if he can help any of you that have been having some problems when it comes to chicken coops, horse overheads, etc.
We will try and get him to do some q&a. If you would like to add something that you are very interested in please add to this thread. Here are some examples:
1. Why is it so difficult to get an AG Classification?
2. Has anything changed or gotten better under the new leadership?
3. How many animals per species to there a minimum?
4. Is an AG Classification broke down by species, i.e., goats, horses, pigs, chickens, cows, etc., or by property?
5. What are the basic requirements required to establish 'bonafide' agriculture use of the land?

All Acreage residents are welcome to attend and gain some knowledge on how our area works in regards to how our area is governed.
This will be a great way to learn how things actually work for us, our rights as homeowners & landowners of our rural community and how we can preserve what we have.
We strongly encourage you to become a member of the ALA. You can go to and become a member or sign up at the door.

We will also be running live video from our FB page, again, for those that are not able to make it. We will make every attempt to get the speaker, the display screen, and sound working to the best of our ability. We are limited to the equipment that is made available to us.
