Triad Joins David Evans and Associates
I wanted you to be among the first to know that Triad has recently merged with David Evans and Associates, Inc., (DEA).
DEA is a multi-disciplinary firm providing engineering and surveying services. They design and manage transportation, land development, water resources, and energy projects. They also offer marine and land surveying. Founded in 1976, they have grown to nearly 950 employees located in 25 offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Mississippi, New York, Oregon, and Washington. In Washington, they have offices in Everett, Bellevue, Tacoma, Olympia, Vancouver, Spokane and now in Woodinville.
When considering this opportunity, we really focused on how our corporate cultures align, and it’s clear to me this is a great fit. There are a lot of similarities, especially when it comes to how each company values its clients and honors its employees.
The merger allows Triad’s clients to benefit from expanded services and resources – both regionally and nationally.
Our project teams are looking forward to being part of a five-office, Puget Sound-area DEA team. Drawing on this larger talent pool means they'll collaborate on a wider variety of projects, support new client types, and work with other disciplines. We’ll be stronger together.
DEA Chairman and CEO Dr. Al Barkouli, P.E., said, “The merger with Triad will substantially increase DEA’s presence in the Puget Sound region and provide clear benefits to our clients, employees, and shareholders. Triad’s outstanding reputation, excellent client relationships, and talented staff enable us to offer our clients an expanded and comprehensive suite of consulting services.”
On August 6, 2015, we'll share additional information about the merger in our joint press release and on our websites. To learn more about DEA, please visit the website at deainc.com. To learn more about Triad, please visit our website at triadassociates.net.
Feel free to forward this email to others in your organization. If, at any point along the way, you have questions about the merger, please feel free to call or email me anytime.
