Update on the New FAA Flight Path Issues

A second meeting with the FAA was recently hosted by Congress members Farr and Eshoo with local technical experts assembled by the Save Our Skies Coalition, and residents from Santa Cruz Mountains, Portola Valley and Palo Alto.  The Save Our Skies experts studied the flight paths and developed an analysis both of the dangers of the current flight paths and solutions to alleviate the incessant jet noise. Glenwood Drive Traffic Delays

Glenwood Drive will be subject to traffic delays with potential lane closures, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through Friday October 30, 2015, weather permitting. Old County Road Bridge is Replaced

The wooden bridge on Old County Road in Ben Lomond is being replaced with a new $1.3 million cast-in-place concrete girder bridge.  MCM Construction, Inc. projects that the bridge work will be complete shorting after the first of the year.
