Introducing “Valley Voices” – A San Lorenzo Valley Non-Meeting

Dear <<First Name>>:

No one wants more meetings, but I do want to gather on a regular basis with San Lorenzo Valley residents of all stripes --- teachers, business owners, fire fighters, seniors, parents, community leaders, elected officials, students, and anyone else who is simply interested in what’s going on in our San Lorenzo Valley. The purpose is to share information, ideas, and concerns and to catch up on projects underway and those that should be. [Learn More]

Caltrans Continues Pedestrian Safety Improvements

Caltrans has been active in the San Lorenzo Valley for over a year now installing several pedestrian safety improvements. The most recent project was a flashing beacon installed in Ben Lomond at Main Street that can be activated by pedestrians crossing this busy section of Highway 9. Taleb Saei, owner of Ben Lomond Shell, has witnessed many near misses over the years at this crossing. Here with Taleb and the Caltrans crew, Danny Lynch, Nick Herrera, Roy Kirby and Pedro Castillo. My sincere thanks to Caltrans and also to Jamie Helmer of Ben Lomond who greatly assisted in identifying this issue and helping craft a feasible solution.
