Coach's Corner
We are very fortunate to have Olivier Dulaurent on our team. Olivier has been coaching cyclists for more than ten years. During that time he has covered over 60,000 kilometres on his bike alongside his clients, giving him an unmatched ability to help riders improve their performance. He is also an exceptionally strong rider himself, having won the prestigious amateur stage race the Tour de l'Ain and finished in the top 20 of the Marmotte seven times.

Olivier writes the Alpine Cols Coach's Corner column, published every fortnight on the Haute Route website as well as on our own website.

Coach's Corner is aimed specifically at riders that will compete in one the three Haute Route cyclosportives. These seven-day stage races, over 900 km and 20,000 m of vertical, are acknowledged to be the "highest and toughest" in the world. However, much of the coaching advice applies equally well to the preparation of any challenging event in the mountains, such as the Etape du Tour or the Marmotte.
