On April 14th the Swedish Espresso bar Konditori opened it's first coffee shop in Philadelphia. Just off Chestnut on 17th Street in Center City you will find a little bit of Sweden. This simple store is full of flavors, from exquisite pastries to great bagels and of course Konditori's own coffee beans. Konditori has already seven Espresso bars in New York, the city where Konditori was established in 2010.

So the next time your are in the Rittenhouse area and are craving an iced coffee on a warm spring day, Konditori is a great place to visit.

On May 20th is it time for both Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival and 9th Street Italian Market Festival. The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival is a annual festival organized by the non-profit organization Rittenhouse Row, with a goal to promote the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. Because of that the festival strives to catch and highlight the beautiful boutiques, salons, restaurants and bars located on Walnut Street. For more information of why over 50 000 people attend this festival every year, go to the website: http://www.rittenhouserow.org/.

The 9th Street Italian Market Festival is Philadelphia’s largest block party. For two days you can enjoy Italian food, live entertainments, enter the Handball Tournament and experience the procession of Saints. For more information go to: http://www.italianmarketfestival.com/.
