SACC-Philadelphia’s young professionals are invited to International Happy Hour at Fadó Irish Pub the first Thursday of every month from 5-7 PM. This is a great way to meet young professionals from other international chambers, make new friends and meet future employers. No cost or RSVP is necessary!
Next International Happy Hour is February 2nd, see you then.
Linn Johansson from our own SACC-Philadelphia had the opportunity to have an interview with Maria to hear about her products and her success.
It all began for Maria Montazami when as a young woman working as a waitress in Los Angeles she met a man, the man of her dreams. Since then, Maria has lived in California with her husband, their four kids and two dogs. Maria was asked to be a part of the Swedish TV show called Swedish Hollywood Wives. The TV show has made her one of the most popular and successful woman in Sweden. Except for working with the TV-show, Maria has also started her own companies.
Can you please tell us about your success over the last years?
It all started with my having the opportunity to be a part of the Swedish Hollywood Wives. The TV show helped me to start my own business with wine, lipstick, purses, clothes, tableware, my book and glasses. Spumante is the newest wine in my wine-collection and was recently released in the liquor stores in Sweden, and I also have a perfume coming out towards the end of the year.
The most helpful thing in order to be successful is to have a stable family, and also to be a stable human being, which I believe that I am. I care deeply about my family and I try to live life to its fullest. I have been at soccer games, class photos, prom shopping, and so on, but now that the kids are in college I have more time to focus on business. I recently started ”Montazami Brand”, with two of my daughters – Sara and Hanna. The clothes are both designed and made in Los Angeles. We have invested both time and money in the company ourselves, and it is a lot of work.
Thank you Maria Montazami for telling us more about yourself! If you want to know more about Maria Montazami, her instagram is mariamontazami, and her blog is www.mariamontazami.nu
