Biztech and City of Hamilton Receive Award for Public/Private Partnership

Hamilton, Ohio - Biztech and the City of Hamilton have been recognized by the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) for their achievement in cultivating a public/private partnership. The "Public/Private Partnership" category award is based on the innovative and unique approach that the City and Biztech have implemented to build an entrepreneurial community, as well as the potential to become a model program for other communities.

The American Society for Public Administration is the largest and most prominent professional association for public administration.  It is dedicated to advancing the art, science, teaching and practice of public and non-profit administration.  ASPA's four core values are accountability and performance, professionalism, ethics and social equity.

This award is given on an annual basis, and is one of many honors that the ASPA bestows on publically driven initiatives and organizations.  The Cincinnati Chapter of the ASPA recognized the winners at an awards banquet on Friday, April 11.
