Um die Öffentlichkeit noch umfassender über die zahlreichen Aktivitäten der Modeszene in Österreich auf dem Laufenden zu halten, lädt die Austrian Fashion Association alle österreichischen und in Österreich arbeitenden Kreativen im Bereich Mode ein, über ihre aktuellen und geplanten Projekte zu informieren.
Mode- und Accessoiresdesigner_innen, Labels, Stylist_innen, Fotograf_innen, Make-up Artists, Künstler_innen und andere in der Branche Tätige sind aufgerufen, Informationen zu Shows, Ausstellungen, Shops, Performances und anderen temporären Veranstaltungen oder dauerhaften Projekten einzuschicken. Wir berichten darüber gerne im AFA Newsletter und auf unseren weiteren Kanälen, redaktionelle Auswahl vorbehalten.

MARTIN NIKLAS WIESER AT ALTE WU
Next Friday, Martin Niklas Wieser will present his Spring/Summer 2023 collection at the Former University of Economics in Vienna.
The Italian fashion designer founded his label under his own name in Vienna this year. Neural deep learning networks, generative design and artificial intelligence influence his design process.
Martin Niklas Wieser has previously worked for Proenza Schouler in New York and Nikolas Andreas Taralis in Paris.

FABRIC HOUSE IN VIENNA
In cooperation with the Austrian Fashion Association, Fabric House once again invites you to the FABRIC DAYS VIENNA, which will take place on October 6, 7 and 8, 2022 at Hotel Altstadt.
Designers and labels can order fabrics from overproduction or from well-known designers for their collections that would otherwise have to be destroyed. With this circular fabric standard, Fabric House enables sustainable production and saves raw materials and energy.
You can also order in small quantities, starting from 1 meter of fabric, and those who order on site will receive a 10% discount!

AFA x DACH SHOWROOM IN PARIS
Paris Fashion Week starts next week and with it the AFA x DACH Showroom, where the Austrian Fashion Association will once again present selected Austrian labels to an international audience of buyers and press representatives.
Astrid Deigner, GÜÇ, Modus Vivendi, Not Yet FYI, Published by, Rendl, Julia Skergeth and Timna Weber will present their spring/summer 2023 collections on site.
Project partners are ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA and go international, the Vienna Business Agency enables Not Yet FYI to participate in the showroom.
Berlin Showroom will bring Acceptance Letter Studio, Anne Bernecker, Clara Colette Miramon, Haderlump Atelier Berlin, Halo Labels, Leinz contemporary eyewear, Susumu Ai, Tata Christiane and Vladimir Karaleev to the joint location in Paris' Marais.

THIS WAS KREATIVWIRTSCHAFTSBÖRSE MODE 2022
On September 13, 2022, around 350 trade visitors flocked to the Kreativwirtschaftsbörse Mode at MuseumsQuartier Wien, including fashion designers, textile designers and fashion design students.
In addition to the stands of the international exhibitors with their numerous products and services, the insight talks with Gertrude Klaffenböck from the Clean Clothes Campaign Austria, fashion designer, consultant and lecturer Sabinna Rachimova, Silvie Fröch from the Austrian Patent Office and Tessa Moroder, economist and co-founder of Lottozero, Essi -Johanna Glomb, textile designer and design researcher, Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin, Sigrid Rotzler, clothing technologist and electronics researcher, Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration and Pauline Gamore, Le Textile Lab Lyon, addressed a curious audience.

In order to keep the public even more up to date about the numerous activities of the fashion scene in Austria, the Austrian Fashion Association invites all creative people in Austria and those working in Austria to provide information about their current and upcoming projects.
Fashion and accessories designers, labels, stylists, photographers, make-up artists, artists and others working in the industry are encouraged to submit information about shows, exhibitions, shops, performances and other temporary events or permanent projects.
We are happy to share on this in the AFA Newsletter and on our other channels, editorial selection reserved.
We are looking forward to receiving information and images, stating all credits, to press@afa.co.at.
