Hello Eagle Crest Families!

I hope that you have had a wonderful start to your summer vacation and that you are finding time to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and reset a bit after the busy school year.  My family and I made the big move from SW Colorado to Longmont last week, and we are happily settling into our new home and our new community.  I have had the opportunity to start working in the office here at Eagle Crest and I am already feeling so welcome and supported in my new role.

We are hosting the Summer Launch program here in our school, so our building is still bustling with positive learning energy.  I am thrilled that so many students and families in our area were able to take advantage of extended learning opportunities.  If you are around the building picking up or dropping off students, feel free to stop in and say hello- I am here most mornings!

You also received communication from the district that we have hired a new, full time dean of students.  Lindsey and I are jumping in with two feet and we will be working with staff throughout the summer to prepare for an amazing school year.  We are both looking forward to getting to know you and your children!

Enjoy the sunshine!
Warmly,
Amanda

Sunshine Dental Assistance

As you may know, in normal years Sunshine Club works with the St. Vrain Valley Schools and local dentists to complete dental screenings in all elementary schools in the district during January and February. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sunshine Club has not been able to host these screenings in 2021. Sunshine Club wants to meet the dental needs of kids in our community.

The Sunshine Club is here to help!

If your child is suffering from what you believe to be an urgent dental need (pain, swelling, odor), please contact Kate at mkate.gaddis@gmail.com. Upon hearing from you, the Sunshine Club will work to connect you with a local dentist, and, if applicable, Sunshine Club will provide the financial assistance to complete the necessary dentistry.
