Academic proficiency is an important district goal for all elementary students. Research shows that extended school year learning opportunities positively affect student success.

Project Launch program includes:

  • Targeted literacy practice daily

  • Content literacy in science and social studies

Eagle Crest Students Were Mad about Reading in March! 
Eagle Crest students had read 440,000 minutes this year!  We only need 60,000 more minutes by the end of April for our Silly String Celebration!  Be sure to log your reading minutes for the week through this Weekly Reading Form so we can celebrate in April. 

Each week we give away FREE BOOKS to readers.  Here are this week's Free Book Winners:

You can still check out books from the library even if your class is not visiting the library this month. Go to Destiny to reserve books for classroom delivery. How To Request Books for Classroom Delivery . You can also contact Mrs. Beckett at or you can fill out the Library Book Request Form to help Mrs. Beckett select a book for your child. Books are delivered each week to the classroom.
