Welcome, Deacon Larry Worthen!

This week, the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth announced new pastoral assignments for clergy, which will come into effect on August 1. We wish to extend a warm welcome to Deacon Larry Worthen, formerly of Divine Mercy Parish, who will be joining our parish family. Deacon Larry will join Deacon Danny MacDonald in active ministry at Christ the King Parish.

Thank you & merci to Deacon Bernie Coffin & Deacon Gerald LeBlanc

The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth has announced the retirement from active ministry of Deacon Bernie Coffin, and has granted a leave of absence to Deacon Gerald LeBlanc of the French Community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to these two men for their generous and selfless service to our parish and to the Church!

Prayer Shawls for the Sick

When illness strikes, many people feel isolated and alone, especially now. At Christ the King Parish we are blessed to have a ministry that provides warmth and comfort to the ill through beautiful, hand-made prayer shawls. Prayers are offered for those who will receive them by those who lovingly create each shawl. Please contact Anne McLevey at 902-462-5035 if you or a loved one would benefit from one of these shawls.

Thank You, from Fr. Anthony

Fr. Anthony would like to express heartfelt thanks to all who sent him congratulations and prayers on the 10th anniversary of ordination, which he celebrated on Monday, June 29th.
