35below Season Opens Friday!

September 7-23, 2018
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm; Sundays at 2:30 pm
Produced by UNC Asheville’s Alpha Psi Omega (APO) Drama Honors Society
Performed in 35below

While attending a wedding in Knoxville, Tennessee, five identically clad bridesmaids gather in an upstairs bedroom, each with their own reason to avoid the reception below. As the afternoon progresses, these five unique women uncover their common bond in this funny, irreverent, and touching celebration of the women’s spirit.

Our next season in 35below opens with Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, a contemporary comedy by Alan Ball, the  Oscar- and Emmy-winning writer of “American Beauty,” “Six Feet Under” and “True Blood.” This show is completely produced by UNCA students - they're directing, starring, and designing - and we're just thrilled to be the space where they get to do this!

Two levels of classes are offered: Improv 1 (open to everyone) and Improv 2 (prerequisite: Improv 1 or extensive improv experience). Which is the best class for you?
