Watch a Premiere!

Livestream Premiere * February 5, 2021 at 7:30 pm
Video on Demand * February 7-28, 2021

How many times in life are we able to attend a film premiere? And from the comfort of our homes? We're excited to share that you can do just that tomorrow night at 7:30 pm!

The Man in the Bright Nightgown is a short film (it clocks in just under 40 minutes) based on a play by NC playwright Tom Huey. Earlier this fall, husband and wife team Michael and Brenda Lilly gathered up a few friends and co-workers (Brenda is on the faculty at Western Carolina University's School of Stage and Screen) to adapt Huey's script into a screenplay, then film and edit this funny and moving piece.

And now we get to stream the premiere! PLUS - after the premiere, stick around for a behind the scenes look at how a one-person play was adapted to a three-person film!

The Man in the Bright Nightgown is directed by Joshua Russell; Screenplay by Brenda Lilly and Joshua Russell; Starring Michael Lilly, Jeff Benninghofen, and Jan Powell.

Tickets are $15.00 (plus taxes and fees).
