Dear Friend,

What an amazing year 2016 was for NAN! We have so much to be grateful for and are proud to report that we were able to provide service to 32% more families than 2015. Your support ensures mothers with cancer and their children receive the help they need at such a difficult time.

2016 Highlights
  • 87 families and 153 children benefited from NAN's services
  • NAN was able to develop a high-performance team of staff and grow our volunteer base to over 90 skilled childcare providers to reach more families.
  • NAN held its inaugural Angels and Heroes Gala and it was a huge success, raising $511,866!
  • Through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and third party fundraising events, we were able to exceed our 2016 fundraising goal of $850,000... raising a total of $869,000 for the year!
  • We’ve made great progress on our multi-year plan to guide our expansion across Canada and look to the future with excitement and confidence.
With your support, we can help mothers and their children, raise awareness, and generate funds for a cause that truly makes an immediate and lasting impact.

With tremendous gratitude,

Join us on Thursday, May 11th 2017 for our second annual Angels & Heroes Gala!

Guests will be treated to an evening of delectable food and cocktails, a live auction, and a raffle, capped off with a performance by Brass Transit – a CHICAGO tribute band. Some of this year's raffle items include: a two night getaway to St. Anne's Spa, a private dinner for ten at Harbour 60 Restaurant in Toronto, and two round trip tickets to Europe!

Last year’s inaugural Angels & Heroes Gala raised over $500,000 which went directly toward providing free, specialized, in-home childcare for mothers who have been diagnosed with cancer, are in palliative care, and for families requiring support during the bereavement period.

Thanks to the contributions of our valued supporters, we are able to make a real difference in the lives of moms with cancer and their children. Our work would not be possible without you. By supporting the Nanny Angel Network, you will help moms recover during their cancer treatment, and allow kids to be kids just a little longer.

For sponsorship information and any other inquiries related to the event, please contact Maddie Wright at, or by phone at 416.730.0025 x4.

Volunteer Toronto Feature: Nanny Angel Leigh Scholl
We're so proud that our very own Leigh Scholl has been selected as a Volunteer of Toronto by Volunteer Toronto.

Leigh has been with NAN since August 2014 and was our 2015 Nanny Angel of the Year. Leigh is an exemplary Nanny Angel and this recognition is well deserved!

NAN's work would not be possible without amazing volunteers like Leigh. Check out the video story and full article.

CIBC Miracle Day 2016
On December 7th, Nanny Angel Network founder, Audrey Guth, was joined by NAN mom Wendy and her children, Isabelle and Andrew, to open CIBC Miracle Day. Thanks so much to Wendy for sharing her story. Later that day, Audrey and the NAN team closed the Toronto Stock Exchange, marking the end of CIBC Miracle Day 2016.

A huge thank you to the CIBC Capital Markets team and CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors for donating their fees and commissions for the day to charities helping kids in need. This year the total amount raised is $7 million, an increase of $1 million over last year! We are grateful for the wonderful partnership we have with CIBC and appreciate their continued support helping kids cope with the loss of a healthy mom.
In 2016, sadly, eight moms from the NAN community lost their battle to cancer. We commemorate the lives of these women and continue to provide service to their families.

As part of NAN's service, we offer support to families during the bereavement period. We are committed to helping children cope with the death of their mom through our specially trained Nanny Angels.
