The Society of St. Vincent the Paul
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.
The 9th Annual Friends of the Poor® Walk/Run official date is Saturday, September 24, 2016 (dates may vary by location). Every dollar you raise through the Friends of the Poor® Walk/Run stays with your local SVdP, to assist with programs/services for the poor in your area.
To register your 2016 local Friends of the Poor® Walk, please go to the website (www.fopwalk.org) and hover over the “coordinators” tab near the top right. Then click the first sub-tab labeled “establish a walk” and follow the steps provided.
To register as a walker, go to www.fopwalk.org, and hover over the “walkers” tab, then select the sub-tab “become a new walker” and follow the steps provided.
