Happy Advent

From all at HOPE Coventry, we wish you a happy Advent. However you prepare for Christmas, whether decorating your tree, filling a reverse advent calendar, or lighting your advent candle, we pray your preparations will be blessed and you will know the presence and peace of God with you.

Gift of friendship this Christmas

Good Neighbours Coventry's December campaign is to find 50 local people willing to give the gift of friendship to an older person. In from just 30 minutes per fortnight at a time to suit the befriender, a little chat & company will bring much more joy than chocolate or bath bombs. Adults of all ages & backgrounds are welcome.

A drop in session for anyone who's got a random question about Good Neighbours, needs signposting, wants to know what being 'a befriender' means, or who just fancies a cuppa is being held on Thursday 9th December between 11am-12:30pm at Jubilee Crescent Community Centre.

Befriending information sessions are throughout December across Coventry. Let us know when you're coming here.

Would you consider making one for a family or an individual this Christmas? If you can help provide a hamper, please email Ian Burton here. You will be provided with a list of suggestions to include in your hamper.
