Dear HOPE members,

The Board of Directors (BOD) wants you to know of these recent changes.

The BOD Director-at Large position has not yet been filled. If you are interested in the Director-At-Large Board position, please contact Board member, Connie Redmond at by 9/30/22.
Keena Jones resigned as HOPE AACR President and Board of Director representative for the Midwest Region (MWR). President duties have transitioned to the Vice President, Constance Howell.
The BOD is working to find a representative for the BOD representative for the MWR. If you are interested in the Board of Director position and live in the MWR, please contact Board member, Connie Redmond at by 9/30/22.
During her time in office, Shay collaborated to streamline and standardize processes that support HOPE's finances. Keena served as HOPE’s President.  Thank you both for your contributions to these roles and for your service in HOPE.
HOPE’s Mission is to provide comfort and encouragement through animal-assisted support to individuals affected by crises and disasters.
We now need to apply our skills and expertise to support our own team members as we navigate these transitions. Your Board of Directors, alongside Regional Managers, are working intensely to address the needs of our organization, especially within the Mid-West Region immediately and going forward. We will communicate openly with each other and with our membership. We ask for your grace and patience as many of us are taking on new and additional responsibilities.
We have also asked our Mental Health Committee to be available to any member who may seek additional support.  (Their contact info is below).
