NUS GRIP Run 3 Lifts Off!

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Antler, which will enable more entrepreneurs to build successful deep tech start-ups! The Executive Deep Tech Programme is designed to allow individual talents to keep their current jobs, while they find the right co-founders, develop their MVPs and be ready to secure funding to launch their new deep tech ventures.

Craft Health was also featured on local Chinese news Lianhe Zaobao 联合早报 and online media 3DPrint.
Breathonix, Craft Health and Teredo Analytics have been awarded the Startup SG Founder Grant! This also marks a new milestone for GRIP, as we are officially one of the Accredited Mentor Partners (AMP) for the grant

Our first space tech start-up, NuSpace, has announced a fund raise of undisclosed sum from Japanese venture capital firm, BEENEXT. The funds will serve to accelerate their plans to launch nano-satellites to bring IoT connectivity to remote places. 
Over the last couple of months, HiCura Medical and their AI-driven drug injection system has been featured on Channel 8 News, The Straits Times and NUS New (where they also shared how NUS GRIP has helped them in their journey).
Polybee has been featured on radio and in print! They were featured in the Breakfast Huddle on MONEY FM 89.3, and The Straits Times. This up-and-coming agri-tech start-up was also awarded the Temasek Foundation Ecosperity grant and named a Deep Tech Pioneers of the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge.
Many of our start-ups participated in Slingshot 2019, and emerged as creme of the crop from the over 2400 teams that took part! Breathonix went home as a sector winner; while Bilioptics, H2C, Nusoil Technologies, Polybee, SinGrow and E3A Healthcare claimed positions in the Top 100.
Medtech start-up FathomX was shortlisted as a finalist for the 2019 Innovation Awards by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and was an Excellence Award Recipient and one of the Top 9 Projects in the Hubei Innovate Challenge organised by the Hubei Provincial Government.
Intelligent flow diagnostics start-up, Dravam, has emerged the grand winner in this year's PIER71 Smart Port Challenge, to walk away $10,000 cash prizes, and up to S$50,000 grant from MPA. Watch their winning pitch!

NUS Researchers were honored at this year's President’s Science and Technology Awards (PSTA) for their pioneering and groundbreaking work with significant impact to the country. 

27 NUS researchers have been named in the global Highly Cited Researchers 2019 list released by Clarivate Analytics, recognised by their peers as outstanding researchers in their fields.
