Seven Steps on the Path to a Good Life for People with Disabilities is a guidebook designed to help people who are concerned about the future of a relative with a disability. It offers a step-by-step guide on how to plan for the future, and provides options beyond traditional professional social services. The authors are parents with children with disabilities, and they often discuss their own personal experiences to help illustrate different alternatives. The book is a free eBook that can be downloaded on iBooks or Google Play, but there are limited hardcopy editions available to order or to pick up from a local BMO branch.

Access Now is a website and app designed by a Toronto-based woman who saw a need to inform her community on which establishments are wheelchair accessible. Users can rate businesses on their accesibility and pin it to a map for other users to see. The map currently has over 7,000 pins across the world, with more being added everyday.

Since 2009, Arion Farms has been offering people with special needs the opportunity to ride and bond with horses. They offer a variety of programs throughout the year, including therapeutic riding, after-school programs, horsemanship courses, and programs for seniors. Riders at Arion range from beginners to show competitors.

This summer, Arion Farms is offering Farm Discovery Day camps every week starting July 4 until the end of August. They run during the week from Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM. Please call the farm if you are interested in participating.
