Rocky Mountain Update                                                                                         June 2022

Greetings, Partners!

This is the third and final part of Real People Supporting a Great Cause--at least for now. There are so many dear friends and partners supporting PastorServe at large and specifically my ministry within the Rocky Mountain Region. Perhaps we can reengage with this theme next summer so we can hear from others. As you may recall, I introduced to you Brian and Stephanie Flynn last month. This month, I'd like for you to meet longtime friends, Earl (Doc) and Alma Brewster.

We’re Doc and Alma Brewster, and we have lived in Colorado Springs for the past 21-years. We are empty nesters with five adult children and a granddaughter. Alma has been a jewelry consultant most of her career and Doc has been with the Air Force for nearly 42-years; 21-years on active duty (where he and Wade met in the 1980s) and over 20-years as a civil servant at the Air Force Academy. We’re very much looking forward to the next chapter in our journey when we both retire at the end of this year and relocate to Greenfield, Indiana, to be closer to family.

Why we support PastorServe: You’ve likely heard the phrase, “It’s  lonely at the top.”  If asked, many, if not most, pastors would likely admit they’ve experienced this loneliness, in times of joy as well as times of challenge.  We support PastorServe as we believe they’re on the front lines in coming alongside pastors as they deal with the myriad issues facing them and their families.  We specifically support the Rocky Mountain Region as we’ve known Wade for over 35-years, and we know his heart for God and for serving others, especially pastors.  We’re very deliberate with our giving and are more than comfortable and confident in supporting Wade’s ministry with PastorServe and count it a blessing to participate in this important undertaking.

Thank you for giving us a snapshot of your story, Doc and Alma. We've had so many levels of engagement over 35 years of life, and I'm deeply grateful for every one! I also appreciate your ongoing support to help us strengthen the Church by serving pastors.

Wade
