Announcing the 2013-2014 Haiti Micah Project Annual Report

Are you excited? We are!

We are excited and proud to bring you our first annual report. Since Haiti Micah Project's inception in 2005, we have grown from a handful of concerned folks from Virginia and Haiti, providing meals to around 100 children in Mirebalais, to a community and family of individuals, churches, schools and organizations across the US, a team of dedicated staff and board members in Haiti and over 400 children fed, provided with shelter and given the opportunity to go to school.  As a naive 20-something, sitting in my first HMP meeting in 2006, I had no idea where we would go, what we would accomplish and what new friends we would meet along the way. Each of you reading this message has contributed to the journey, and we're only beginning!

Read about our history and the successes of the past year in the 2013-2014 Annual Report on the website here

2015 is our 10th anniversary year. Together, let us celebrate the victories, big and small, and look toward the future, confident that everything is possible in community and with faith.

Ansamn, se pou nou selebre bonte Bondye! (Together, we celebrate the goodness of God!)

Sponsor A Child

Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.  Proverbs 11:25

The Sponsorship Program began in the earliest years of HMP and has been the backbone of the feeding and education program and the SAES Home. Without the generous support of our sponsors and donors, HMP could not respond to the challenges that face Haitians every day. Each day 400 children come to us for their food for the day. It may be their only food.  All are attending school because sponsors have generously donated funds that pay the expenses associated with school access. None of this is possible without the help of sponsors and donors. For less than $1.00 a day, you can help to provide critical support so that another child is provided the necessary basics.  We want each child to not only survive, but to thrive.
