Dear Friend,

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.

Thank you for your continued commitment to our children and families, who have been most impacted by COVID-19. At the state level, 50% of Latinx people have lost their jobs and 74% do not have access to health insurance.

Given state recommendations and following MECK Pre-K's guidance, we are operating all programs remotely through the end of this school year.

In response to continued COVID-19 impact, we are thrilled to announce that generous grants from the PNC Foundation and an anonymous donor have launched a CltBP basic needs delivery program. Every week, families in need receive groceries and two prepared family meals provided in partnership with Manolo's Bakery, World Central Kitchen, and our dedicated volunteers. Help more families thrive by signing up to volunteer or donating.

We miss seeing our children and families in person, but thanks to your support our teachers and whole team continue working full-time to help families keep their children learning and engaged. See below for photos from a recent Earth Day unit on insects!

Thank you for your kinship. Continue reading below for a list of resources as we navigate this situation together. With love and compassion we will overcome.
