Hello All!
We hope you have been enjoying your summer so far, and you are finding ways to stay cool! FARMstead ED has been busy with lots of great classes and events. We have enjoyed welcoming new people to our classes, as well as spending time with those who are frequent flyers with FARMstead ED! Here are a few recaps of what we've been up to lately.

Paso Robles Wine Festival
The FARMstead ED booth became the INFO Booth at this year’s Wine Festival We were honored to be invited to host the Info Booth this year and work alongside Mayor Steve Martin and Councilman Steve Gregory! Thank you Shonna for the opportunity!
Second Wind Round-up Races
We were there to help by sponsoring the trail course competition at their 1st annual fundraiser for equine rescue supporting feed & care for rescue horses. A big shout out to Wendy & Knute Brekke for being top hands at the event!
Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce Ag Tour - Sponsor & Bus co-captain
This popular annual Ag Tour showcases some of the county’s most diverse, private agriculture operations. This year’s Tour, titled “Lighting Up the East” highlighted Eastern San Luis Obispo County with visits to the Lazy JT Ranch, Topaz Solar Farm, La Panza Ranch, Cal Fire Station & Sculptera Winery.
 
Great Western Bicycle Rally
We were privileged to take part in the Artisan Marketplace and hosted one of the many add-on rides; Get Your Goat with Alcea Rosea Farm! We had a ball sharing this farm tour and cheese tasting with Bev Michaels and such a great group of riders, many who had never been to a farm enjoyed meeting the ‘kids” and touring the cheese making operation.
 
 
Lighthouse Benefit Fun Run & Family Day
We supported the Lighthouse Benefit Fun Run & Family Day with a basket for their silent auction! Money raised supports the program which is dedicated to overcoming addiction through awareness, prevention & education to support sobriety among our youth.
