South Africa Hunting

In early June Vernon went to the Limpopo province of South Africa on a hunt that was mainly for Warthog which looked like being somewhat different from the normal plains game safari.
The group had an interesting few days in a nice camp that was well run.
55 Animals were taken by 9 hunters over 3 days of hunting with 27 being Warthog.
Not quite in the same league as the packages we offer in The Eastern Cape but a good experience all the same.

Clay Target Success for "The Team"
We are pleased to announce that Ian Marsden, Operations and Marketing Manager at HRW led home the Scotland Shooting Team Veterans to take the Bronze Medal at the World Sporting Championships held at Churchills’ Shooting Ground, High Wycombe recently.
Ian was accompanied in the 3 man team with Tom Carmichael & Drew Russell. Ian also had the pleasure of being joined by his son, Scott at the event who was a member of the Scotland Junior Team. Father and Son really enjoyed the challenge shot over 200 targets over the 2 day event. Ian was the top scorer in his team event and Son, Scott was top gun in the Junior Team. A great honour to represent Scotland together at the World Championship.
