VTL awarded 1st annual Impact Grant from Teton Springs Foundation

We are honored to receive a $25,000 grant from TSF to replace outdated and inoperable technology - most has been in operation for 10 years or more. Technology is the foundation for all the work that we do for our community, from checking in and out books and tools, to helping with research or a resume, and learning to program and code.

In today's digital world, accessing technology and information through the internet is not a luxury but an essential tool. At the library, patrons can access computers, tablets, printers, and the internet on site - and even checkout laptops and hotspots for home or on the go. The library offers free access to all, we serve the entire community plus the many visitors who travel through.

With this funding, VTL will kick off a comprehensive technology overhaul that will replace not only computers, but printers and servers too. We also plan to add equipment for community meetings, additional hotspots and self check-out for patron privacy and ease.

In an inspiring show of community support, TSF also pledged a second grant to support Seniors West of the Tetons. We applaud the leadership of Teton Springs Foundation and their deep commitment to our community.
