The proposal for a Institutional Mechanism for stronger Stakeholder Engagement in the New UN Habitat Governance
Our Coalition wants to explain why it is important for UN-Habitat to review its governance and stakeholder participation structures by ensuring greater involvement of civil society, local governments and the private sector. The reasons, how, the purpose of this proposal and how to support it is available at HIC Website.
The list of women who, from the history and present of our Coalition, have and continue to struggle to make visible the role, experiences and rights of women and girls to be respected is long. Some of those stories shared by AVE-Ceve, WIEGO Global, Cooperación Comunitaria and Madre Tierra.
